Wanted...

Wanted by God! We were invited to our church's Volunteer Appreciation Celebration and had a great time:

The tables were decorated with a bandanna and sheriff's badge at each place setting - Alex of course chose a blue bandanna!

Our children's minister, Pastor Paul, is a kind, patient man who Alex adores:

(I think the feelings mutual, Pastor Paul is wonderful to Alex!)

After eating wonderful bbq, the kids played horseshoes:


Alex played against Elizabeth:

Elizabeth and her brother, Jonathan, go to school with Alex - they're so sweet! Jonathan is also in the autistic program, in the class next door to Alex's - so it's fun to see them at church also.

Alex really enjoyed the horseshoes - we'll have to look for a real set to have at home!
