We Are...

Sparks for Jesus:


We finished up our last year as Sparks with a bang! Alex had a great year at Sparks, receiving Sparkie of the month once, finishing his entire book and getting a plaque at the awards banquet.
He's very excited for next year, he'll be in Stockade - it's just for boys!
I'm so thankful for our wonderful church providing such great programs.

I forgot that I never posted this layout:


This is the layout that I made to apply for the Let's Scrap design team, but I didn't end up submitting it because I found working full time didn't allow me much scrapping time. Plus, I am not able to hang out over at Let's Scrap site much and I'd feel guilty being on a dt and not being active on the boards - make sense?
Anyhow, I made this layout with a picture of my awesome step-mom, Leah when she was younger and a whole slew of JBS goodies!

Not only did I scrapbook a layout, I did a double layout, wow!
I love this paper that Alex did at school, so it inspired this layout:

The layout was based on an ooooooooooold sketch from Pagemaps - love me some Becky Fleck!

Alex's school had a Walk for Diabetes that he loved participating in, especially since one of his classmates is diabetic. Their class all wore matching pink shirts that they decorated:



They also decorated visors:

I'm so proud of how into the Walk for Diabetes that he was, he was proud of himself for reaching his walking goal as well!
