Lunch 'n Read....

The 2nd graders at Alex's school had Lunch 'n Read one beautiful sunny day:

I was lucky enough to take a long lunch from school so I could go read and eat with my sweet boy! He wanted Wendy's spicy chicken nuggets and "yummy" sea salt fries (that was his order!). He asked me to bring his Buzz Lightyear blanket for us to sit on:

I surprised him with two new books - Kung Foo Panda 2 and Stink. That was the nicest lunch I've ever had!

Hanging Out With Clowns...

Yes, those are my two clowns! Ha! But those aren't the clowns the title is referring to - we hung out with circus clowns.
A small circus came to town and we were so excited to go!
(warning - this post is very picture heavy, but just in case anything ever happens to my computer, I have the pictures on my blog, so sorry for loadin it down!)

Alex loved watching the motorcycles ride in the steel cage:

This clown put on quite a show:

Girls twirling, another fave of Alex's - pretty girls make that boy happy!

Boxing clowns:

Plus a boxing kangaroo:

Girls twirling plates:

Spongebob made an appearance:

Big ole snake:

A lemur:

Musical dancing clowns:

Here come the elephants:

The finale:

What a fun time!

Thank Goodness...

Thank goodness he's so cute:

Because he pulls clothes out of the laundry, BUT it was Alex's shirt and I'm sure he was missing him while he was away for the weekend!

Because he wakes me up in the wee hours of the morning to go wee-wee, BUT he sleeps with his paw around one of Daisy's babies:

And he's so cute! Especially when he's sleeping....because he's not chewing/destroying/devouring anything!

We love our little Gunner!

Thanks Uncle Stevie...

For the super cool baseball helmet:

Alex is starting baseball and he's so excited about his equipment, it's all hand-me downs from his sweet family: helmet and bag were cousins Logan and Connor's, glove was cousin Adam's and bat was big sister Haley's. I know we could have gone out and bought all new gear, but he is so proud of his things because they used to belong to people that he loves and misses dearly!
So you know what this means, LOTS of baseball pictures coming soon! :)
