Thankful...

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, but unfortunately only took 3 pictures:

Snow Funny....

We had our first snow of the season. Alex decided that he needed his helmet on to play outside:

BTW, snow melted in two days.

Belt Testing...

It was belt testing time again - still a blue belt, but with a yellow stripe:

Skateville...

Our Wednesday night church clubs went skating:

Alex had fun and was good (his school had a skating week in gym last year). I loved watching him, but wasn't brave enough to join him (it was crowded!) - maybe next time.

Happy Hayride Halloween...

This year, we spent Halloween with some friends who live in a country neighborhood - we had to have a hayride to take us to the houses since they all sit on an acre or two. It was fun:

We finished off the night warming up at the Lake's house, eating pizza and catching up with old friends. What a fun Halloween!

Pumpkin Carving....

Alex found a cute Iron Man pumpkin decorating kit to put on our white pumpkin:

It got chilly, so we moved the pumpkin carving inside:

Farmington Halloween...

We went to the Farmington Halloween walk:

Fall Break...

Unfortunately our Fall Break started a day early, with Alex and I both staying home from school sick! We didn't do anything eventful, lots of laying around trying to feel better. We did have our weekly Friday date night. Alex chose...McDonald's and a Friends dvd:

(I think Gunner was hoping for a fry or at least to lick Alex's fingers!)
It was a fun date night, I wish I had felt better, but at least Alex was almost 100%.

MoA fun...

Our only Hooters in the area is at Mall of America, but they have THE best wings around, so we made a special trip up there for lunch. We had fun walking off our lunch, doing some window shopping.
At the Vans store, Alex made us laugh with his Blues Brothers look (he had NO clue what we were talking about with that reference, oh well):

He's SO studly! He really wanted that fedora, ha! The boy loves a hat.

No visit to MoA with Alex and Andy is complete without going to the top of the parking ramp to watch the planes fly over:

And that completes my awesome birthday weekend!

Pumpkin Patch....

For my birthday weekend, Alex & his dad took me to a pumpkin patch! (we also had movie night, grilled out steaks, ate at Hooters and walked around MoA!)

It was a gorgeous fall day and we had a great time:

Alex was our maze leader and he got out us very quickly (too quick for him, he wanted to do it again and again!).
