Happy 4
th of July!
We were in
Loudon for the 4
th and it was full of small town parades!
Nannee got Alex & Sophie shirts that they looked SO cute in:

It's parade time (Alex was lucky enough to ride in the Powell Parade with Uncle Tony to pass out water with First Baptist of Powell)!
Alex & Sophie enjoying the Lenoir City parade:

Alex's favorite were the
Shriners doing fast-driving-tricks in their carts:

Sophie LOVES horses and this nice lady came over for Sophie to pet her horse (she was flirting LOTS with Sophie's uncle!):

Next up on our parade route was the Loudon Parade! We were SO lucky that the parade runs right in front of Nannee's house.
Alex & Sophie got a little over-zealous, getting out to the curb WAY before the parade started:

Here it comes:

Here comes Aunt Carolyn in her yellow
convertible:

(yes, Alex is blessed to have 2 Aunt
Carolyns now, both SO sweet!!)

The parade was fun and we enjoyed having hot dogs, chips, cupcakes and sodas with friends and family on the front porch afterwards! Such a wonderful way to celebrate our beautiful country!!

I love the town parades! I noticed Alex had a bag to collect candy. Guess I didn't realize that was important when we went, and Carter had to use his hat.
