My Grandma Chapin loved owls, purple and tennis. I too love owls and purple (last time I played tennis, I ate the turf three minutes into playing and that ended my tennis career, graceful I am NOT!). When I was flipping through a Scrapbooks Etc. magazine (MISS them, boo hoo!), I noticed the cute owl art that I just had to make!

I really didn't intend on adding the sunshine, but since my finished owl was much shorter than her frame (story of my life, ha!). So insert the sun and my Mary Owl is finished (Grandma's name was Mary!). She will hang in my scrap area, LOVE it!
