Let's Scrap Resolution #14 was to use 1 ribbon, 2 pattern papers, 3 flowers & 4 bling. Here's mine:

Dawn's resolution/challenge at Let's Scrap was to use cardstock only! WOW, it was hard, but my Big Shot that I got for Christmas from Andy & Alex made it a lil easier. Here's my resolution #13:


The versatile thing about Let's Scrap is that you can take a layout sketch and make a card from it - that's what I did with this one! They also post great new card sketches once a month.

Sledding Fun...

Alex & I bundled up and met our friends at St. Olaf College for some sledding fun!
It was a beautiful day, clear and cold. The college was gorgeous:



One of the moms knew a hill in the back that we had all to ourselves!!

Such a fun time! The boys wanted to play at Max's house - don't know where they got the energy, but it didn't last too long before they were all ready to go to their own houses! Love getting the three boys together and the mommies have fun too!!

Let's Scrap again...

Let's Scrap Resolution #5 was to not open anything new - use what you have!! It was actually easy because I wanted to use the back side of the paper from the Speed Racer layout (yesterday's post):

I'm loved the girly paper, so fun to use!

Let's Scrap Resolution #10 was to use non-scrapbook items - I chose to use some denim from a pair of Alex's old jeans:

I'm continuing to Blog Hop over at Let's Scrap, definitely fueling my scrappy mojo!

Here's my Resolution #1:

Alex has been into always wanting to be cool, so I was shocked when I showed him this layout and he just blew it off, saying "I was just little then", but I'm sure when he's a teen he'll freak about me having scrapbooked pictures of him in underoos dressed as Bob the Builder! ha!

So resolution #1 was to scraplift a layout from Let's Scrap and that was easy for me, I looked at Dawn's layouts - I love them all, so it was hard to pick one!
Here's the one I chose:

Let's Scrap...

Let's Scrap Resolution # 9 was to journal/scrapbook something funny. I chose to tell about a recent occurrence in our home, having to look COOL:


The story is one of those "had to be here to get it" because of the dramatic voice that Alex used to declare his need for non-handsome clothes!!

He's so funny, never a dull moment!

Yes, I got another layout done! Amazingly fast for me too, thanks to Let's Scrap's sketches.

Clubber of the Month!!!!!!!!!

HE GOT CLUBBER OF THE MONTH!! Yes, I'm shouting because I am SO excited and so was he when Ms. Becky called his name! I had no idea he was getting it or I would have had my camera! I did get pictures when we got home:

It's been his goal this year to earn Clubber of the Month and I couldn't be more proud of him!

I am so thankful for our church and all those who serve, they've been so good to Alex and me!

My friend Dawn is a Design Team member over at Let's Scrap and if you're a scrapper/card maker, you need to pop in and take a look at their site - they have incredible sketches! They're having a Blog Hop right now, with 15 resolutions (challenges) and I am having FUN playing along!
