Swimming with Cousins...

Alex and I had a fun sleepover at his Uncle JJ and Aunt Jenny's house. After a yummy breakfast (thank you Jenny!), we headed to the pool to swim.
Alex, Katy, Lily and Maddy:

Happy 4th of July...

And Happy 3rd Birthday to Parker Buddy:

Alex and I got to join the Buhls at the Farragut 4th of July parade.

Alex and his Aunt Jenny:

Alex and Parker loved seeing the army trucks, they reminded them of Sarge from Cars:

Andy LOVES (seriously, like knows every episode by heart loves) The Andy Griffith Show, so this tickled me when I saw it:

Gomer:

There's Barney on the left and Ernest T. on the right:

Barney being Barney:

Here comes Alex cousin Lily and her dance team:

Even though it was HOT, I had chills as I watched Lily dance by! She looked gorgeous and we were SO lucky to be there to see her dance in the parade.

Here comes the Chick-Fil-A crowd:

Alex gave the cow a high-five:

We're HUGE Chick-Fil-A fans!

Here comes Wendy:

Alex told her, "I love your Frosties" - too cute!

They ended the parade with the fire engine, very cool!

We had a great time at the parade, being with Parker on his birthday and seeing his Sissy Lily dance in the parade made it perfect!

Vacation 2011 Stop #1...

We are home from our annual whirlwind summer vacation. It was another fabulous year and will take several posts to fit in all the pictures. :)
Our first stop was in Loudon to visit with Andy's family.
We had breakfast on the front porch, while the kids jumped on the trampoline:

It was HOT, so we went swimming. Cooper, Alex and Emma had a blast:

Here comes Emma:

Followed by Cooper:

Wedding Bliss...

I've mentioned that I've been involved in tag swaps and I just adore the group of talented ladies that are part of the group. One of lady wasn't able to participate in the newest round because she's getting married! Some of the swappers have made a wedding tag so we could send them out to her as a congratulations. Here's mine:

This tag was so fun and easy to make. I hope Rachel has a wonderful dream wedding!

We've had so much rain lately, so when we had a break in the weather, we headed out for a picnic:

The puppies joined us:

My lil cutie said it was an awesome picnic:

I agree with him, it was!

The pictures aren't good, but the casserole is and it is SO easy, seriously.

S & P
Granulated Onion

Preheat oven 350 degrees. Spray 13x9 inch pan with non-stick spray. Sprinkle 1/3 of hashbrowns in pan, top with 1/3 cheese, s & p and onion. Repeat twice. Pour entire pint of heavy cream over casserole. Bake 45 min - 1 hour.

1st Vet visit...

We took Gunner to his 1st vet visit. He got a few shots that wore him out:

Poor Daisy had blood drawn, but she enjoyed the ride home, laying in her boys' lap:

While I was taking pictures, I snapped one of camera-shy Andy:

It was quite the outing, wore us all out!
