Summer...

Summer, will you ever come? I think you're taking your time so I can get back to looking like I did in these pictures! HA, not! Anyhow, here's another summer layout:

Love a Challenge...

Well, I love a good scrapbook challenge! Ha!
Over at Let's Scrap, there's a new design team challenge to use textures and make a homemade embellie. I made the green fabric flower in the top right hand corner for this layout of Haley's visit to USS Yorktown way back in July 2000:

Hope you're having a happy President's Day! We're having a SNOWY one! Lakeville got so much snow in such a short time that we made national news (Jess texted me last night while I was scrappin to tell me!). Luckily Andy's keeping up with the snowblower, so we're not "snowed in", but it's STILL coming down, just not as heavily.

Still Dreaming of Summer...

I found this cute picture of Alex and his buddy JP back from when we lived in Centreville, VA (which I spelled wrong on the layout, but NOT going to change it) and knew it needed some fun orange papers:

Celebrating Summer...

We're having a heat wave here in MN - it's 34 degrees!! So I'm dreaming of summer and created this layout:


Can you believe how little Alex was? Oh my he's such a cutie!! This is from July 2006!

My Funny Valentine...

We had a very sweet Valentine's Day here!

It started with a beautiful (& yummy) cake from our Sunday School leader:



I received this sweet array of goodies from Alex and Andy:


I was lucky to get to attend Alex's school party!

After the party, I went to lunch with my other Valentine, talked to my Vandy Valentine (miss you H!), snuggled on the couch with Alex to read all of his Valentines from school, had heart shaped pepperoni pizza for dinner and took my funny Valentine to taekwondo! I'm so very blessed!

Scrap my stash....

I joined a group at Let's Scrap that's "Let's Scrap our Stash" and we're encouraging each other to use what we have, don't buy new scrap supplies. I have enough supplies to open a store! Ha! Seriously. :)

I love the saying, "every boy needs a dog" so when I got this sticker "every puppy should have a boy. - Gene Hill" I knew I wanted to make a layout around that lil sticker! Luckily I took some good pics of Daisy while we were in TN for the holidays.

Printing Photos...

Printing out new photos makes me want to scrap them RIGHT NOW! So I did just that!
I printed this picture of Haley with her step-dad Kenny, sister Amber and brother Austin and couldn't wait to scrap it.

I finished the last resolution/challenge over at Let's Scrap! What a coincidence that I finished with this layout of MawMaw with two of her boys on her birthday! Hope she had a happy birthday!!
