St. Paul explorers...

After church on Sunday, we headed to St. Paul and had a great afternoon!

We drove past the capital:

This is the restaurant where Andy's been wanting to eat - famous for their walleye and it was YUM! Loved the quaintness of it - lots of MN beers on tap, the husband/wife owners were running it - the hubby was bartending and the wife was our waitress!

We stopped to walk along the bridge that overlooks the Mississippi River - just beautiful!

They had a beautiful park area seperating the river and downtown:

This is the Cathedral of St. Paul - just stunning:

What a fun day and no Buhl family Sunday would be complete without a trip to Best Buy - blah, but it makes my men happy, so we stopped there on the way home.

To say we all slept like babies is an understatement!

Oh, a deck update: by 2 pm Saturday my strapping hubby had the deck completely removed! And he had NO help, just him! We finished his b'day off with a fiesta here at home with some friends - I made his fave chicken enchaladas, margaritas, homemade guac, queso dip, Pioneer Woman's stuffed jalopenos (delish), and walnut brownie bites! FUN!
